Softwood Door Frames (Redwood): four different options available, fully assembled, with a basecoat stain for a paint or wood finish as required. Supplied with weatherstrip or intumescent fitted as detailed. Please be aware that the intumescent supplied is 15mm x 4mm and may not be appropriate for the type of door it is intended to fit, please check first.
Suitable for all external doors (FRC Reversible also suitable for internal fire doors)
Oak Door Frames (boxed sets): great value exclusive door frame kits, manufactured using solid (unfinished) European oak throughout. The laminated construction has the advantage of extra stability and material economy without losing authenticity.
Lengths supplied are sufficient to cut for most standard door sizes, including a version for pair or sidelight configurations. A separate boxed mullion is available where a rebate both sides is required for sidelights.
Draught strips are included, reversible open in or out. The oak is suitable for use externally but it is essential, complete shelter from direct rain and hot sunshine is provided if appearance and performance is to be maintained. Full treatment with a quality external wood finish is still required.

Red Hardwood Door Frames: good quality red hardwood of laminated construction for extra stability. Supplied fully machined in kits ready for assembly, untreated and without weatherseal (sold separately). A separate cill adaptor is supplied to locate into a groove to facilitate opening in or out.
